Other Calls for Entries

Welcome to our extended Call for Entry and Juried Exhibition page. We host requests from outside institutions, galleries and curators to assist them in finding artwork for their collections.  Participation in any of our open calls to artists will not only bring attention to your artwork from the ArtToGift Gallery but from panels of art world jurors around the world who are museum curators, art professors, gallery owners, art collectors and established artists.

Curator’s Call for Innovative Use of Materials

An independent curator is looking for artists who work with materials in a unique and innovative way that bridges the gap between design and fine art for future potential projects and exhibitions. Craftsmanship and skill are highly regarded and curator will look closely at types of materials, process and sustainability of finished work. Artwork can be two or three dimensional and any size.

A description MUST accompany work submitted that includes the type of materials used and the application process. Your submissions will be kept on file with requesting curator and you will be contacted directly if your work is selected for projects and/or exhibitions.

Submission Fee: $25 for 3 works, $10 for each additional work.

A Call for Realism

In 2015, Porter Contemporary will exhibit a group exhibition highlighting the strength and innovation of  trends in contemporary realism world-wide. The gallery is looking for a diverse selection of artists from around the world who work in painting, drawing or sculpture in the areas of urban realism, Photorealism, Magic Realism and trompe l’oeil. The exhibition will present a a wide range of ideas, approaches, styles, and subject matter.

Qualifications:
• Open to all artists world-wide who are 18 years and older who are working in the genre of Realism.
• Only paintings, drawings, and sculpture are eligible
• Work submitted must have been created in the last 2 years (2012 to present)
• Two-dimensional work should not exceed 50 inches in any direction
• Three-dimensional work should not exceed 60 pounds and 30 inches in width
• All work must be prepared for exhibition, framed or appropriately prepared for hanging and display.

Submission Fee: $25 for 3 works, $10 for each additional work.
